Cleveland, Ohio, July 9, 2009 – SageQuest announces the release of its new integration with Garmin, a pioneer and worldwide leader in GPS navigation devices. SageQuest's fleet tracking and management solution, Mobile Control, now connects in real time with Garmin devices inside commercial vehicles to deliver key information from dispatchers and management to drivers.

The integration allows dispatchers to build and optimize a route in Mobile Control for drivers in the field, then immediately push the route to a driver's Garmin device. The driver simply presses "Go" and turn-by-turn directions begin. Routes can be re-prioritized and updated in real time as conditions change. Dispatchers can also use Mobile Control to send messages to drivers via their Garmin device, communicating important schedule updates or posing a question. Drivers can respond using canned text responses or creating a free-form response on the Garmin device.

"We're pleased to release a solution that addresses such an important need for our customers," said Jonathan Durkee, Vice President of Sales and Product Management at SageQuest. "This new capability creates a greater connection between dispatchers and drivers in the field, and ultimately makes the driver more productive and safer on the road." SageQuest has already put active units in the field with the Garmin integration in place. One example is BendBroadband, a cable, broadband and telephone services provider in Bend, Oregon. "Our technicians quickly adapted to the Garmin unit. They no longer need to refer to paper maps or call in to dispatch for directions," said Brett Anderson, Bend's VP of Plant Operations.

"SageQuest, like Garmin, is known in the industry for quality, reliability and service to customers," said Roger Jollis, Garmin's Director of OEM and Mobile Marketing. "We're confident the Garmin system will build upon this reputation because it will serve as an interactive navigation link that helps dispatchers and drivers work together by communicating in real-time to improve customer response, optimize fleet resources, enhance safety, and achieve lower costs and higher profits for the company."
