Wireless Device Engineer
The Wireless Device Engineer will take the lead in the development of the mobile device portion of SageQuest’s mobile resource management solution, working closely with the Engineering, IT, Product Teams and outside vendors. The Device Engineer is responsible for sourcing, recommending and implementing new in-vehicle devices to be used in conjunction with SageQuest’s mobile resource management solution.
Some of the essential knowledge, skills and abilities include: mobile resource management device knowledge, proven understanding of related technologies (such as cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, wireless internet access, etc.), excellent research skills, hands-on ability to program, test and develop new devices and capabilities, ability to travel, to visit manufacturers and to attend tradeshows and other industry events, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
